Soft Brick announces UK’s “largest play area”

Rupert Oliver and Lesley Knight

The Soft Brick Company has announced that it will be building “not only the largest play area in the UK, but one we are confident will be described as “the best play area in the world”.

When it opens in early 2013, in New Brighton, Merseyside, the 21,000 sq/ft building on Marine Point will be operated by Gloplay Ltd, t/a Bubbles World of Play.

The name is a clear reference to Soft Brick’s new World of Play Concept, said Soft Brick’s managing director Graham Robinson. He added. “As you can imagine, we are absolutely thrilled. This will a benchmark site for the next decade; it’s great news for us and also a real feather in the cap for Merseyside and the children of New Brighton.”
